Spreadsheet workflows
Consolidate files, standardize columns, validate records, and replace repetitive spreadsheet preparation.
SUN HARBOR TECHNOLOGIES · SOUTHWEST FLORIDA
I help local businesses replace repetitive spreadsheet preparation, reporting, data entry, and approval follow-ups with reliable automated workflows. We start with one process, map the rules and exceptions, and build around the systems your team already uses.

A POSSIBLE FIRST PORTFOLIO PROJECT
A suitable initial portfolio project: combine a small set of recurring exports into one checked report. We define the source files, required output, schedule, and exception handling together.
Final deliverables, pricing, and timing are agreed before work begins.
Automation is most useful when a process repeats, its rules are clear, and your team can identify what should happen when something goes wrong. Your project can include the following capabilities, with scope agreed before development.
Consolidate files, standardize columns, validate records, and replace repetitive spreadsheet preparation.
Collect the right data, generate recurring reports, and deliver them to the people who need them.
Move requests to the right reviewer with notifications, status updates, and explicit approval steps.
Connect forms, create records, assign tasks, and keep onboarding information moving between systems.
Populate templates from validated data for consistent documents, summaries, and business communications.
Flag incomplete records, surface failed steps, and give your team a clear path to review and resolve them.
These examples show how a routine task can move between defined steps, with validation and human review where needed.
One repeatable workflow with a review point before delivery.
Walk through your process, including exceptions, owners, and the time-consuming steps.
Test the rules against representative data and give your team something concrete to review.
Agree on production scope, monitoring, documentation, and the people responsible for ongoing operation.
Often, no. We first look at what your current systems support through APIs, exports, and built-in automation. A small connection or workflow may be enough; replacement is considered only when the existing tools cannot support the requirement.
We design for the exceptions as well as the normal path. Depending on the scope, that can include validation, notifications, retry rules, logs, and a manual review queue. The goal is to make problems visible and recoverable.
Bring one process your team repeats frequently. A sample file, a walkthrough, and an explanation of what should happen are a useful starting point. We can assess feasibility before committing to a larger implementation.
Selected assessments are complimentary. Implementation, operating costs, and support are agreed separately. I offer approximately 10–20 consulting hours weekly around my full-time role, with evening meetings and remote collaboration.
