ACCEPTING INITIAL PROJECTS
A new local consultancy.
I’m building an independent portfolio through practical projects for local companies. A new website, one automated report, or a connection between two tools can be a useful place to start.
Selected initial assessments are complimentary. Implementation, deployment, and support are priced separately. We agree on scope, an approved project showcase, and an honest testimonial before starting.
Replace repetitive spreadsheet preparation, reporting, data entry, and approval follow-ups with workflows that follow your business rules. I map how the work happens today, agree on the rules with the people doing it, and automate the steps that are predictable while leaving judgment calls with your team.
What I can help with
Spreadsheet consolidation and validation
Scheduled reports and notifications
Request routing and approval steps
Document intake, sorting, and filing
Recurring invoice, payroll, and billing preparation
What that can accomplish
Hours of weekly manual preparation reduced to a scheduled run
Fewer copy-and-paste errors and missed follow-ups
A written record of who approved what, and when
A possible first projectStart with one report your team prepares every week.
Connect your website, customer-management software, accounting system, and operational tools so information can move between them without repeated manual entry. Each connection is built with clear field mapping, duplicate handling, and a way to see when something fails.
What I can help with
API connections and data synchronization
Field mapping and duplicate handling
Error visibility and handover documentation
Website form to CRM and email-tool routing
Scheduled imports, exports, and data cleanup
What that can accomplish
One record of a customer instead of three that disagree
New inquiries reaching the right person within minutes
Failures surfaced and retried instead of discovered later
A possible first projectStart by connecting an inquiry form to your customer records.
Build or redesign a website that explains your services, works across devices, and helps prospective customers take the next step. That includes the content structure, the inquiry path, and the technical foundations that keep the site fast and findable.
What I can help with
Responsive business and service pages
Inquiry forms and business-tool connections
Technical SEO and performance foundations
Accessibility and mobile review before launch
Analytics, hosting setup, and editing handover
What that can accomplish
A clear path from first visit to a submitted inquiry
Pages that load quickly and read well on a phone
Content you can update without calling a developer
A possible first projectStart with a focused website for your local business.
Create an internal tool, customer portal, dashboard, web application, or mobile app around a specific business workflow, for the cases where off-the-shelf software does not fit and a shared spreadsheet has stopped holding up.
What I can help with
Defined features, data, and access roles
Purpose-built interfaces and workflows
Testing, documentation, and agreed support
Customer or staff portals with secure sign-in
Reporting views built on your real data
What that can accomplish
One place to track work instead of scattered files
Permissions that match who should see what
A system that can grow with the process it supports
A possible first projectStart by replacing a shared request-tracking spreadsheet.
Find a useful AI application, test it against real requirements, and connect it to approved information with appropriate human review. The goal is a narrow, measurable use case you can trust, not a general-purpose assistant nobody checks.
What I can help with
Use-case and feasibility assessments
Document search, extraction, and summaries
Evaluation and workflow integration
Answers grounded in your approved sources, with citations
Review steps, guardrails, and staff guidance
What that can accomplish
Answers pulled from your documents in seconds, with sources
A tested view of what AI should and should not handle here
Human review kept where the decision actually matters
A possible first projectStart with a limited search assistant for approved documents.
How your project moves forward.
You do not need a finished technical brief. Bring the business problem, the tools you use, and what a useful result would look like.
01
Assess the requirement
Show me the process, the roadblock, or the idea. We’ll discuss fit, scheduling, and what a useful first step looks like.
02
Agree on scope and cost
Define the deliverables, responsibilities, timing, and price. Selected initial assessments are complimentary; implementation is scoped separately.
03
Build, test, and hand over
Review progress together, test the agreed workflow, and document ownership, operation, and any ongoing support before launch.

Work directly with Chandler.
I’m based in Fort Myers, Florida, and work in corporate human resources technology, information systems, and integrations. I’m bringing that experience into a new independent consulting practice for local businesses.
You work directly with the person assessing your requirements and building the solution. I focus on understandable recommendations, a manageable scope, and documentation your business can use.
I offer 10–20 consulting hours weekly alongside my full-time role, with evening meetings and remote collaboration.
Yes. I’m building my independent consulting portfolio and looking for local companies in Fort Myers and Southwest Florida to work with on a small number of initial projects. Bring a specific problem or idea, such as a website refresh, a repetitive task, or disconnected software. We’ll agree on scope, pricing, timing, and what can be shared in a portfolio before starting. Selected initial assessments are complimentary; a portfolio project does not mean free implementation.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?+
I’m based in Fort Myers and welcome conversations with local businesses and organizations of any size. Small and medium-sized businesses are my initial focus. What matters most is a clear problem and a project I’m confident I can deliver and support.
What’s included in a complimentary assessment?+
A focused technical assessment of your workflow, requirements, and options. Implementation, deployment, and ongoing support are scoped and priced separately.
What costs would my business be responsible for?+
Production development and deployment require a separate paid agreement. Your business also covers any agreed hosting, software subscriptions, usage charges, travel expenses, and ongoing support. We discuss these before you commit.
How does scheduling work?+
I work a full-time corporate role Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I can dedicate roughly 10–20 hours a week to consulting, depending on the project and our schedules. We agree on evening or other mutually available meeting times, remote collaboration, milestones, and support expectations before beginning.
What do you ask of portfolio clients?+
Participation includes permission to showcase agreed portions of the work and a commitment to provide an honest testimonial. We agree on what can be shared before starting, and you approve the final showcase. Confidential information stays private.
Do I need to know exactly what I want built?+
No. Tell me what feels repetitive, disconnected, or harder than it should be. We can start with the way your team works today and determine whether a simpler process, an existing tool, or custom software makes sense.
